Pieter van der Hoeven and Bram Fokke founded Clocktimizer together in 2014. Since then we’ve grown our team to include programmers, designers and a whole host of other important jobs. We have worked hard to create a dynamic, creative group of people. So we want to make sure you know who they are too. This series of blogs will cover the amazing people who work here. We’ll be releasing new blogs as the team grows so keep an eye out and find more about the people behind Clocktimizer.
Saba Balaei – Software Developer
Saba has joined the team of Clocktimizer tech wizards, as a software developer. She studied Industrial Engineering for her Bachelors, making her a trailblazing woman in STEM (and therefore she fits in excellently with all the other amazing tech women on our team!) Not content with a Bachelors, she went on to study for her Master’s in Industrial Engineering while beginning work as a Business Analyst and Developer. Having completed this, it was time to head over to sunny Utrecht for the next chapter in her adventure!
When not being incredibly driven, Saba is a bit of a musical genius. Able to play both the accordion and the piano, she is only a striped shirt away from becoming French. Sadly, she couldn’t fit the accordion in her luggage, so has to settle for renting a piano over here. We’re hoping she will play an impromptu performance for us at our next office borrel. Saba has excellent tastes, including a love of cardamom tea, of alternative rock and of mountaineering. Like all people of taste she also strongly disapproves of the last two seasons of Game of Thrones. We think she’ll fit right in!
