Welcome to the team – Anastasia Pelini
Pieter van der Hoeven and Bram Fokke founded Clocktimizer together in 2014. Since then we’ve grown our team to include programmers, designers and a whole host of other important jobs. We have worked hard to create a dynamic, creative group of people. So we want to make sure you know who they are too. This series of blogs will cover the amazing people who work here. We’ll be releasing new blogs as the team grows so keep an eye out and find more about the people behind Clocktimizer.
Anastasia Pelini – Customer Success Manager
Anastasia is the latest inspiring member of our Customer Success team. She is also clearly going to take the spot as our resident linguist, speaking English, French, Italian and some Spanish. Her next mission is to add Dutch to the mix, though she is currently searching for a way to spice up the learning process. Anastasia’s educational background is as well travelled as her language skills. She has a BA in Media, Culture and Identity from the University of Roehampton in London, has completed a study abroad program at Manhattanville College in New York and completed an MA in New Media and Digital Culture at the University of Amsterdam. Better yet, she has studied intersectional feminism, and feminist theory, making her yet another strong voice and role model in the office.
In recognition of her Italian origins, Anastasia spent much of the lockdown perfecting her baking skills – most notably pizza dough. Clearly, we’re all looking forward to becoming office guinea pigs while testing continues. This creative side extends to her love of photography which she shares through her blog and makeup (prior to looking after our customers, Anastasia was also a make-up artist). In the future, Anastasia hopes to be able to take up travelling once again, particularly to see some of her
favourite bands like Green Day, Weezer and Fall Out Boy. It seems like the perfect office outing…
