Pieter van der Hoeven and Bram Fokke founded Clocktimizer together in 2014. Since then we’ve grown our team to include programmers, designers and a whole host of other important jobs. We have worked hard to create a dynamic, creative group of people. So we want to make sure you know who they are too. This series of blogs will cover the amazing people who work here. We’ll be releasing new blogs as the team grows so keep an eye out and find more about the people behind Clocktimizer.
Dorien Neys – Head of Customer Success
If you’ve worked with Clocktimizer at any point in the last few years, then you’ve probably worked with Dorien. When she isn’t organising our excellent monthly company drinks, she also works closely with Clocktimizer’s clients. Dorien studied both at the University of Amsterdam and in the USA, where she lived for a year. While some may know that she has a Masters in law, you may be surprised to hear she also has a Bachelors in Arabic language and literature. This led to her working and living in a number of incredible places. She has studied in Damascus, and worked for the Dutch embassy in Cairo.
Upon returning to her native shores in 2014, Dorien worked for a number of NGOs. At HiiL, she met Frances and the two of them came to work at Clocktimizer together at the beginning of 2017. When not working, Dorien can probably be found diving. From East Timor to Egypt, she has spent more time under water than on dry land. Especially if she manages to spot a box fish. Recently, she has taken up kick boxing too, making her our most deadly team member.
