The two companies join up on the 2nd & 3rd of November to provide practical advice and guidance for those looking to get into legal tech or to increase diversity within their organisation.
2nd October 2017, Amsterdam The legal tech sector, like many other STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) fields, has relatively low diversity rates. Both Clocktimizer and DLA Piper recognise the need for initiatives in The Netherlands that can offer practical ways to improve this. Their event will bring together senior professionals from legal and tech fields with the aim of offering solutions and ideas to targeting low diversity within the legal tech sector.
Clocktimizer and DLA Piper will be offering a programme spanning two afternoons. Day one will focus on practical skills for those considering a career in legal tech. This will include an introductory coding class by Clocktimizer’s CTO Bram Fokke. Day two will focus on diversity within the legal tech world, with an examination of the link between diverse boards and profitability. It will feature a Q&A session with professionals from DLA Piper on concrete ways to promote diversity within your organisation. Attendance at the event itself is free. A live stream is also available for those unable to travel to Amsterdam.
A full programme and sign up for the event is available here. In the run up to the event Clocktimizer and DLA Piper will also be releasing a series of interviews with inspiring women in the law and technology sector. These include, but are not limited to, professionals from Akin Gump, Freshfields, Dentons, F-LEX and Microsoft. These will be collated into an e-book, available for download after the event.
